This disk accompanies “ResEdit Complete,” by Peter Alley and Carolyn Strange. It contains the ResEdit application, the Examples Folder, and the standard Read Me shipped with every copy of ResEdit. For this book/disk package, we’ve also included a Fun Resources file.
You can run ResEdit 2.1 on any Macintosh computer using System 6.0.2 or later. If you’ve used an earlier version of ResEdit you might be interested in the list of changes and enhancements included in the release notes in the other Read Me file on this disk.
The Examples Folder contains source code in C and Pascal to help you create your own editors and pickers to use with ResEdit. You’ll need MPW 3.2 to compile the examples.
The Fun Resources file contains a small collection of miscellaneous resources, some of which were used as examples in the book. Feel free to use them as is, or edit them to suit yourself.
